I could kiss Il Bruce for not taking Berhalter... he's driven me crazy for years.

And I actually agree with the idea of taking Ching and Twellman over Wolff.

OK, fair enough. I just like Berhalter so I was a little disappointed to see that he didn't make it, but nothing against Conrad. I try not to be a Eurosnob. Hell, I would even root for the RBNY against European clubs in the hopes that they will do the MLS proud.

Although on EA Sports FIFA '02, I did 'loan' myself out to Celtic, so I guess that is my little bit of Eurosnobbery.

Over the top? Me? Never. I'm widely known for my understatement. ;)

But, no, I actually think that's a lot of what the Conrad vs Berhalter debate boils down to.

And keep in mind, if you read that bit closely, I'm actually suggesting we all have a whiny little Eurosnob within us.

But isn’t that nagging little ache just the tug of your inner-Eurosnob, isn’t that just the squeaky little voice that doubts Major League Soccer, that can’t quite shake that old superstition that says European based players are inherently more prepared for the international stage than players plying their trade right here in the States? And isn’t that nagging little achy voice overdue for a right and proper beating?

Isn't this a little over the top? Maybe some people geniunely think Berhalter is a better choice given the amount of experience he has? And don't forget, if it wasn't for this, soccer fans in the US would be naming their male children Gregg.
